Hi, my name is Dimitra, the artist behind mooni atelier, welcome!

I've been playing with art my entire life, in all kinds of mediums, from painting, to embroidery and clay work, but in the past few years I discovered how much I enjoy making jewellery. 

I'm also a big lover of second hand and vintage shopping, I grew up being dressed from second hand stores, so when I became an adult it was natural for me to keep shopping there; and once I discovered vintage, a whole new world opened up to me. 

Upcycling jewellery came to me from a mix of, a need to create constantly new things instead of the same thing again and again and a desire to give people completely unique pieces, from my own experience with turning old jewellery into something completely custom for myself and how fun that is.

I hope that you'll find or make with me, something that will bring you joy and make you feel happy when you wear it.
